According to a temple release, there will be no Sarpasamskara Pooja at the historic Kukke Sri Subrahmanya area from today (December 8) to December 24.
Mahatobhara Kukke Sri Subrahmanya Temple Annual Fair – Champashashthi Mahotsav will be held from 10-12-2023 to 24-12-2023. As per the established tradition, the Jatra Mahotsav will be held from Adityawara 10-12-2023 to Dwadashi 24-12-2023 which is the day of Dwadashi.
Due to this, no Sarpasamskara seva pooja are held in the temple. Sarpasamskara seva is one of the main sevas of Kukke Subrahmanya temple. All other sevas will continue as usual.
But some services will not be held on Chauthi, Panchami, Shashti and Lakshdeepotsava days, according to a temple release. There will be no night prarthana seva on these days i.e. December 12, 16, 17 and there will be no afternoon prarthana seva and Ashlesha Bali and Nagapratisthe puja services on December 18, the day of Champashashti, a temple release said.
On December 12, 16, 18 and 24th December there will be no Mahabhisheka seva of God and from 10-12-2023 to 24-12-2023 the evening Ashela Bali seva will not be held.
According to a release from the temple, there will be no opportunity for darshan and other sevas from tomorrow morning to 2 pm due to the removing Moolamrittika Prasad at Kukke Subrahmanya temple on December 9.
