KSRTC has filed an application in the Kerala High Court seeking compensation of Rs 5.6 crore from the Popular Front of India Islamic Organization.
KSRTC has petitioned the Kerala High Court seeking compensation from those who called the hartal. KSRTC demanded that PFI should be compensated 5 crore 60 lakh.
In Kerala, 58 buses were vandalized after the hartal called by the Popular Front last Friday. Ten employees were injured.
Meanwhile, 309 cases have been registered in the state so far in connection with the attack that took place as part of the hartal conducted by the Popular Front. 1404 accused were arrested in various attacks.
Police has informed that 834 people are under precautionary measures. Most of the cases were registered in Malappuram. 34 cases have been registered in Malappuram.
According to the figures released by the police, 28 cases were registered in Kottayam and 215 people were arrested. 26 cases were registered in Kannur city alone.
