A group led by two persons named Arif and Zaheer created a disturbance during Navratri celebrations in Undela village last night. Kheda DSP said that 6 people were injured in stone pelting.
At least six people were injured in stone pelting on a Garba program during Navratri celebrations in Kheda, Gujarat. The incident took place during Navratri celebrations in Undela village on Monday night.
According to police officials, the village chief had organized a garba event in the center of the village, near which there is a temple and a mosque. While women and men were participating in the program, a group belonging to another community reached the spot and asked them to stop.
The group then resorted to stone pelting, injuring six people. As soon as news of the incident came to light, Kheda District DSP Rajesh Gadhia, Kheda Local Crime Branch team reached the spot.
“Last night during Navratri celebrations in Undela village, a group led by two men named Arif and Zaheer started creating a disturbance. Later they resorted to stone pelting in which 6 people were injured,” said DSP Kheda Rajesh Gadhia, according to ANI news agency,
