HEAVEN ON EARTH (Poem)
ANDROCLES AND THE LION: Now answer these questions.
1. Where did Androcles hide himself?
Answer: Androcles hid himself in a cave.
2. Why did the lion lick his hands?
Answer: The lion lick the hands of Androcles because he pulled the thorn out from the paw of lion.
3. What would you do if someone had helped you?
Answer: I will show great respect and thankful towards them if someone had helped me.

eagerly: with interest/to show excitement about something that is going to happen
corridor: a long narrow passage on a train or between rooms in a building
announced: to tell people something in a loud voice
pleased: very happy
